If you believe you need urgent mental health care and support and cannot wait for the next available appointment, you have the following options:
- Attend your nearest Public Hospital Emergency Department,
- Contact Psychiatric Triage which offers an all-hours information, assessment and referral service (in South Eastern Region call 1300 369 012)
- Contact Lifeline (13 11 14) which also offers an all-hours crisis support service,
- Contact your GP
