Dr Jane Morgan

Psychologist

Dr Jane Morgan is a fully registered psychologist with experience working across hospital, health, university, and clinical trial settings. She has delivered both individual and group therapies, supporting clients from children through to adults. Jane primarily integrates Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into her practice, while also drawing on elements of Schema Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to provide a comprehensive, tailored approach for each client.


Jane has a deep passion for supporting individuals in understanding and embracing their neurodiversity, helping them identify their strengths and foster a greater sense of self-awareness. Her work is client-centred, ensuring that each treatment plan is uniquely crafted to meet the specific needs of the individual, promoting optimal therapeutic outcomes.


In addition to her clinical work, Jane has a background as a family violence practitioner, where she spent several years working with victim-survivors of family violence. This experience has further shaped her trauma-informed approach to therapy. Jane is also currently an academic research fellow at Deakin University, where she contributes to research initiatives focused on gendered violence.

Jane has a special interest in the treatment of neurodiversity, trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Her approach is compassionate, affirming, and evidence-based, ensuring each client receives the support they need to navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth.
